Bowling Green that was a conference champion last year played TN last week tough and TN beats 19th ranked team this week. I think BG is tougher then we thought and underestimated them. They may prove to have one of the better offences in the country the announcer said at the end of the broadcast. Toledo from the MAC beat 18th ranked Arkansas and Buffalo who was 3 and 4 with losing record in the MAC last year in the same division with Bowling Green lost 27-14 to PSU team that had trouble passing again. Take away Godwin who had 5 catches for 75 yards and all you got left is 53 yards. Luckily they didn't play BG or they would have had their 2nd loss, instead they played a team in the bottom half of the MAC instead of a divisional champion. After last week game and saw BG put up around 550 yards of offense against a ranked team, we should have known not to look pass them and that is exactly what we did. Don't underestimate the MAC as they have some good coaches and usually some really good passing offences. That was a job well done by Bowling Green and yes I am a huge Maryland fan who bleeds for the terps and will always stay loyal to them. No jumping of bridges, but maybe a bad night sleep or two. Best wishes to all the Terps fans. This was a hard loss, but give credit to the Bowling Green coaches and players. They are the better team today and the coaches had a better game plan and executed the plan better. Talent doesn't always win.
