Local five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor dropped his top 7 last night during the men's lacrosse game and not surprisingly, the Terps made the cut. Adam Friedman has more on the contenders and pretenders of that group as his recruitment gets closer to the finish line. I'll add my own thoughts here...in recent years, this is a kid who the big boys would feel they are going to land and would end up at Maryland when the dust settles. I still really like Maryland's chances with Harbor as they have hosted him numerous times and Locks has a really strong connection with the young man. But the wild card this year is NIL and how that will factor in to any decision. I know he's high on Michigan but USC, well, they are the wildcard in my opinion. It is just almost impossible to know what kind of impact the lure of some of these dollar figures will be, if offered. Regardless, I expect the Terps to be in this right until the end.
