First time going to College Park for a game - transportation advice requested

I live in NW DC and have never been to College Park for a game but will be going Saturday to see Michigan (yes, I am a Michigan fan). How much time should I budget to drive there, get parked and be in our seats for kickoff? Any advice would be much appreciated. If this helps, know that I have been in attendance at many of Michigan's most heartbreaking and inexplicable losses in its history, so you definitely want me to be there on time.

I am also flying into DC to see Michigan play the Terps. Should I rent a car? Take the Metro? Uber it? Appreciate the advice in advance Maryland fans!

try this, metro has shuttle buses from the station to the stadium. if you are driving, expect heavy traffic on the beltway so leave plenty of time.
