Kick Loh’s Liberal, soft ass out as it should have been done long ago. Make a damn statement. Get a real AD who cares about Maryland revenue sports .....like perhaps Williams.... at least on an interim basis, and let him pick his successor. Put Williams and Plank in charge of selecting who will lead our revenue sports programs. Plank Is invested, and he and Williams care about Maryland sports and exemplify toughness, ingenuity, effort, smarts and passion. You can’t not have this at the top.
Fill the damn stadiums with Maryland fans. if you won’t admit them as undergrads, let other fans fill the available student seats 15 minutes before game time.
You can recruit all you want but toughness and smarts (coaches and players) wins championships.....and football and basketball are lacking. We are soft and NOT XO smart and everyone knows it. Stop the recruiting hype, fun and pool parties and recruit / develop tough, hard nosed, smart coaches and players.
Damn this sh*t pisses me off. How many bad decisions can this University make from top to bottom over the years? We had a damn good coach in Durkin who learned under the best. Recruited well and did nothing worst than coaches at the finest sports programs .... trying to improve and toughen our guys .....and got railroaded.
Take your university back from this bullshit and lead change from the top... Now! Maybe in 5 years we’ll win a championship again in a revenue sport.
