On Antwaine Carter, says his injury happened on the opening kick off, he was just running down and broke the Lisfrank bone in his foot. He'll have surgery on Tuesday.
Game balls: Taivon Jacobs (offense), Roman Braglio (defense), Ty Johnson (special teams)
Came out of the game healthy other than the injury to Antwaine Carter. They will apply for a medical redshirt for Carter.
On Avery Edwards, it allows you to be more productive as he's a guy people want to single up with his size, it allows you to create some mismatches on the outside and distribute the ball to some more people. And if you start having success, people have to decide who they want to double cover and who they want to roll their coverage to which leaves other people open.
On Roman Braglio, he's a hard worker and nothing has really changed with him. You know what you are going to get and he's going to give you his best effort and he likes to play the game. He's simply getting more opportunity now than he did before and he's taken advantage of it.
On the offensive line, there are things they need to get better at fundamentals and technique-wise.
On going for it on 4th down on one of their touchdown drives, he has some charts he uses and some analytics he takes a look at and in that situation, he thought they were in a spot where they could go for it and the chances to convert were high. But he wants to continue to be a little more aggressive and take advantage of the things that are there for them.
On USF removing Flowers late in the game, they had seen the backup last season and knew he was a better passer. So they figured they were going to throw the ball a little more based on the situation. But he thought they handled it well.
On Wes Brown's ejection, he was ok with the call and believes it was the right call after looking at it again. It wasn't malicious and he didn't do it to try to hurt the guy. It's something they talk about, keeping your head up. He just needs better technique. He won't have to sit out any of the West Virginia game because the ejection took place in the first half.
On Damian Prince, he's made improvements. And if we feel there's something we can do to make us better, we are going to look at those things tonight and tomorrow before we head to practice and go from there. But we are always evaluating our personnel each and every day.
