No determination yet as far as who will play at QB. Will sit down and make that determination this week.
As for the linebackers, they will go the way they went yesterday. Jalen Brooks will move to the WILL and Avery Thompson will play as the SAM. Avery is a guy that has played there before and Jalen plays inside there when they are in the nickel. Thought they did a good job and they might make a few moves as far as the backups at LB.
Jefferson Ashiru will have surgery either Thursday or Friday of this week. David Shaw will have his surgery tomorrow. Brett Zanatto will be out about 3 weeks but he wasn't even hit when he went down with a high ankle sprain.
Back to the QB position, all three are in play. They have told Perry Hills to stay into it because he could be the guy later on.
On the defensive front, they played better and played hard. Took control of their gaps and played better fundamentally and used better technique. Guys ran hard to the ball and knocked some balls out. Quinton got his INT because he was hustling to the ball. Mbi, Cavon Walker and some other guys got in and did well. Were able to keep guys fresh on the d-line. And the play carried over from practice during the week.
