Edsall still had his usual Thursday teleconference with beat writers and was asked about the report that he will be fired. Here is what Edsall had to say:
"The only reaction I have to anything is what I said on Tuesday. My whole focus and concern is working with our student athletes and making them the best people, best students and the best athletes that we can be. That's all I'm worried about and I don't read anything, see anything, and I'm just worried about playing Ohio State."
