Dusty Dvoracek Talks Terps on ESPNU Radio

Today during Kanell and McElroys college football show on ESPNU radio Dusty D provided unsolicited insight on Maryland football having done the Syracuse broadcast. Says he was surprised and impressed how easily Maryland handled what he thought was a decent Syracuse defense. Maryland has speed. Called out Jackson as a game manager, AntMac. Well prepared , consistent energy and focus compared to games he called last year. Most interesting thing he shared was how he met with coaches and they raved about how they watch film every single day as a coaching group, both sides of the ball together. Something Locks brought from Alabama and Saban. Says players are really bought in. Says Maryland is for real and the next 2-3 years future should be bright for Maryland football. Was nice segment, again unsolicited, neither of the talking heads were bringing up Maryland. I’m a bit nervous about the hype train with a tough task coming on Saturday and especially this early in the season. Given the coverage we had last year it’s certainly nice to have some positive buzz about the program.
