Maryland sophomore CB D’Andre Payne will transfer.
Payne never even played a game for the Terps. The four-star 2014 recruit played in eight games and registered four tackles last season for Tennessee. He transferred to Maryland but spent only four months on campus before deciding to move on again. Payne will enroll at an unspecified junior college. He was the No. 230 overall according recruit coming out of high school, according to Rivals.com.

I would say this is a loss for the Terps but you can't really lose something you've never had. Sounds like a troubled kid. Hopefully he figures things out.
