DeMatha Rivals250 four-star DE Coziah Izzard committed to Penn State over the weekend. Penn State seemed to have the slight edge over Maryland for some time and that's where he chose to commit.
Maryland hasn't had the greatest of luck at DeMatha in this cycle to date, but remember they did already land Jordan White. Given the recent trend at Penn State, I wouldn't write off Golden Achumba just yet. Also, I think there's a very good chance Maryland's running back situation in this class hasn't been completely hashed out just yet. Marshawn Lloyd could be another Nick Cross scenario.
As far as 2021 goes, like where Maryland stands with DeMatha's Colin Mobley as well as Greg Penn.
