I attended the game and sat through the entirety of it. I had no real expectations coming in, but I was impressed at the effort put into the game. For the most part, it was a smash mouth running game for both offenses. The Terps had good chances in the first half on several long drives, but couldn't finish and I think it took the wind out of their sails, plus the Michigan TD at the end of the first half.
I was not surprised at the number of Wolverine fans in the stands, but I was surprised at their lack of cheering. It seemed for the most part, they sat on their hands, while the Terp fans cheered when there reason.
For what its worth, and it has been mentioned before, we are woefully short on quality linemen on both sides of the ball. It seems every game, the other team is bigger. It really curtailed the passing game as our QB's had little time. As the close of the season nears, it is clear that we need more quality and depth (but so does every other team). I am also concerned that our OC is out of his class, but I am not a good enough student of the game to say for sure.
