BTN announces 15-16 basketball schedule

CHICAGO – The Big Ten Network will be the home for 14 total games for the Maryland men’s basketball team for the 2015-16 season, the Big Ten Conference announced Tuesday.

Maryland, which finished with a school-record 26 regular-season wins a year ago, will play five conference games on the BTN, including matchups versus Northwestern (1/2, 1/19), Rutgers (1/6), Nebraska (2/3) and Minnesota (2/18).

All games can be streamed via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on BTN2Go, BTN’s digital extension.

Fri., Nov. 6 – Southern New Hampshire at Maryland (exhibition) – 7:30 p.m. – BTN Plus

Fri., Nov. 13 – Mount Saint Mary’s at Maryland – 7 p.m. – BTN

Fri., Nov. 20 – Rider at Maryland – 7 p.m. – BTN

Sat., Nov. 28 – Cleveland State at Maryland – 8:30 p.m. – BTN

Fri., Dec. 4 – St. Francis at Maryland – 7 p.m. – BTN

Sat., Dec. 12 – Maryland Eastern Shore at Maryland – 4:15 p.m. – BTN

Sat., Dec. 19 – Princeton vs. Maryland (Baltimore) – 7 p.m. - BTN

Sun., Dec. 27 – Marshall at Maryland – 4 p.m. - BTN

Sat., Jan. 2 – Maryland at Northwestern – 8 p.m. - BTN

Wed., Jan. 6 – Rutgers at Maryland – 7 p.m. - BTN

Tues., Jan. 19 – Northwestern at Maryland – 8 p.m. - BTN

Wed., Feb. 3 – Maryland at Nebraska – 8:30 p.m. – BTN

Tues., Feb. 9 – Bowie State vs. Maryland – 7:30 p.m. – BTN Plus

Thurs., Feb. 18 – Maryland at Minnesota – 8 p.m. - BTN

BTN rounds out the year by televising five tournament games, including an opening-round game on Wednesday, March 9; two second-round games on Thursday, March 10; and a pair of quarterfinal games on Friday, March 11.
