Making the move just a few miles down Route 1 from being head coach at DeMatha to College Park to be the Terps' new running backs coach, Elijah Brooks brings an immense amount of familiarity with many players on Maryland's roster, including starting running back Anthony McFarland who has been reunited with his former HS coach. McFarland and Brooks have accomplished great things before and could do so again at the collegiate level. On top of his relationships with many local Terps, Brooks also brings experience dealing with the distribution of carries in loaded backfields, something that will be one of the more closely watched storylines in College Park next fall.
