TSR caught up with LC Bird (Richmond) SG Mario Haskett over the weekend at the Big Shots tourney in DC and learned that the Terps have been expressing interest in the rising junior.
Haskett helped his River City Reign team to a big win over DC Premier in the 16U semifinals. He has good court vision and deep range on his jumper. He already has an offer from JMU and should see a much bigger role on his high school team next year now that Kenny Williams is graduating. (Williams by the way decommitted from VCU after Shaka took the Texas job and is likely headed to UNC or UVA I'm told)
