• With its 76-5 victory over Miami (Ohio) last weekend, Ohio State claimed its 10th straight win overall, marking the second-longest active streak among Autonomy Five teams. The Buckeyes have outscored their opponents 135-22 in the first half this season and have scored at least 20 points in 30 straight games, which is tied for the second-longest active streak in the nation. The Buckeyes join Oklahoma State and Georgia as the only FBS teams with 1,000 yards both passing and rushing …

• In the second quarter alone against Miami, Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields accounted for six touchdowns. Fields completed 10 of 16 passes for 195 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 36 yards and two touchdowns over those 15 minutes.
