ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Big Ten Conference announced the Maryland men’s basketball team’s 2019-20 schedule Friday afternoon, with each team playing 20 conference games for the second consecutive season. Once again, two conference games will be played in early December.

Maryland’s conference schedule includes weekend home games against Michigan State, Michigan, Indiana, Purdue and Illinois. Start times and network affiliations will be announced at a later date.
The Terps will open their 2019-20 conference schedule with a home date against Illinois (Dec. 7), before traveling to Penn State (Dec. 10) for their lone meeting of the season.
Maryland will then resume action following the new year with back-to-back home games against Indiana (Jan. 4) and Ohio State (Jan. 7).
The Terps then have a difficult stretch including four-of-five games on the road as it travels to Iowa (Jan. 10) and Wisconsin (Jan. 14), returns home for Purdue (Jan. 18) and then hits the road again for Northwestern (Jan. 21) and Indiana (Jan. 26).
The Terrapins return to XFINITY Center for three-of-four games as they face Iowa (Jan.30) and Rutgers (Feb. 4), travel to Illinois (Feb. 7) and return for Nebraska (Feb. 11).
February 15 the Terps will face Michigan State at the Breslin Center in a showdown of two of the top teams in the conference according to national polls.
Maryland’s next three-game stretch features Northwestern (Feb. 18), at Ohio State (Feb. 23) and at Minnesota (Feb. 26), before closing the season against Michigan State (Feb. 29), Rutgers (March 3) and home against Michigan (March 8) for Senior Day.
The 2020 Big Ten Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place Wed., March 11 - Sun., March 15 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
