This team finds a way to get it done on the road once again, their third straight win away from home. Dez Wells continues his late season tear, finishing with 18 points and 12 rebounds, his second straight double-double. Trimble finished with 21 points, hitting big shot after big shot like he has all season long.
Maryland will now have a double bye and play either Indiana or Northwestern on Friday. Like I said in an earlier thread, Northwestern is going to be a tough game for the Hoosiers, having already beaten them in Chicago just last week.
The Terps are hot at the right time, tonight's win was their 7th in a row. This is the Terps' third 7-game win streak of the season with a chance to extend this streak to 8 with a win on Friday. A 2 or 3 seed in the East with first weekend games in Pitt and the Terps have a real shot at the Sweet 16 and beyond. Just a special season so far.
