Maryland offered 2020 three-star PG Santiago Vescovi of Uruguay. They watched him at the NBA Global Academy Games over the weekend in Atlanta. Was told he picked up several other offers recently, including Butler, Miami and Temple.
Maryland also with another underclass offer, this time 2021 five-star shooting guard Aminu Mohammed. He spent this past year playing high school ball in Missouri after spending his freshman season at Carroll in the WCAC. He earned All-WCAC honors as a freshman. He transferred out to Missouri after his brother signed with Missouri State. He was running with Boo Williams on the EYBL circuit this summer.
