Pat caught up with recent Terps offeree Brachen Hazen (pronounced Br-ah-Ken) to talk about his offer and planned visits. He's already set up a visit to Central Florida for Labor Day weekend and is currently working on setting up visits to Maryland, Clemson and Ball State.
Obviously, Wenyen Gabriel is the Terps No. 1 priority but if you watch the video in the story, you'll see he has a skill set that looks like it would work very well in the Terps' system. He really does seem to have some Jake Layman in his game. If they were to push, I'd think Maryland would have a very good shot here. We'll likely know more about where Hazen stands after Labor Day weekend when he and Gabriel start taking visits.
