MT has to pull off some magic before next season.
Presently, the backcourt will consist of Melo and Brantley period unless suddenly Wiley and Nickens can get a handle on the ball. Per their current play, it's hard to see Nickens as anything but a small forward three point shooter and Wiley as something between a 2/3 with little little dribble penetration expertise.
in short, with Dez gone, we will need a two who is athletic, can create his own shot and penetrate. I'm hoping Wiley gains some confidence and more heart over the summer and can fill this role.
the front court should be OK w/o Stone and excellent with him.
in any case we need at least one more person added to the front court be it Stone or another.
so, by position this is what we have;
Center: Ceko, Dodd
four: Carter, Bender
three: Layman, Nickens
two: Brantley/Melo, Wiley
one: Melo/Brantley
need at least one more recruit for the backcourt (a two) and really three for the front court (definitely a three, four & hopefully a five).
just my humble opinion
