ROSEMONT, IL – The Big Ten Conference office announced the 2024-25 women's basketball series match ups on Tuesday afternoon.
Maryland will play a home-and-home series with Ohio State. The Terps will also host conference newcomers USC and UCLA, as well as Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska and Rutgers. The Terrapins will make road trips to Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Washington and Oregon.
Big Ten women’s basketball will play an 18-game conference schedule. Each team will play 16 single-game opponents (eight home/eight away) and one home and away opponent.
Maryland's non-conference schedule as well as game dates, times, and television assignments will be announced at a later date.

Maryland returns All-Big Ten honorees Shyanne Sellers and Bri McDaniel, as well as Emily Fisher, Emma Chardon and Allie Kubek for the 2024-25 season. The Terrapins also welcome three incoming freshmen in Ava McKennie (McSherrystown, Pa.), Breanna Williams (Billings, Mon.) and Kyndal Walker (Beltsville, Md.).
Head coach Brenda Frese and her staff signed seven transfers in Christina Dalce (Edison, N.J. / Villanova), Amari DeBerry ( Williamsville, N.Y. / UConn), Mir McLean (Baltimore, Md. / UConn/Virginia), Isimenme Ozzy-Momodou (London, England / Gulf Coast State), Saylor Poffenbarger (Middletown, Md. / Arkansas/UConn), Kaylene Smikle (Bay Shore, N.Y. / Rutgers) and Sarah Te-Biasu (Montreal, Canada / VCU).
