The 6’ 10” power forward from West Palm Beach, FL was this past season’s co-POY in the Ivy League where he averaged 17.6 points and 7.3 rebounds including six 20 point games and four double-doubles in league play. Would be available for the 2021-2022 season. With no big men among our three 2021 signings, Atkinson might be a nice one year bridge who could provide college game experience and leadership to help our new young core. We all know only too well how poorly we have fared in attracting players in the portal over the past 5-6 months, so perhaps we’re due. Anyone here seen Atkinson play?
